A Matriz Portuguesa - Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Cultura e do Conhecimento, no âmbito da Exposição Universal da Matriz Portuguesa® Philippa & Catarina - 650 Anos da Aliança Luso-Britânica, congratula-se com a visita do Primeiro-Ministro de Portugal, António Costa, a Londres, no dia 13 de Junho de 2022, onde se encontrou com o seu homólogo, Boris Johnson, e assinaram uma "Declaração conjunta fundamental para relançamento, depois do Brexit, da relação bilateral da mais antiga aliança mundial".

António Costa, que estava acompanhado pelo Ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros, João Gomes Cravinho, referiu também que este relançamento da relação bilateral se realiza a "cerca de um mês de celebrarmos os 650 anos do primeiro tratado que assinámos entre Portugal e a Inglaterra, que continua a ser a aliança contínua mais antiga".

The Matriz Portuguesa - Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Cultura e do Conhecimento, within the scope of the Universal Exhibition of the Portuguese Matrix® Philippa & Catarina - 650 Years of the British-Portuguese Alliance, welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa , to London, on 13rd June 2022, where he met Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, and signed a "Fundamental Joint Declaration for the relaunch, after Brexit, of the bilateral relationship of the oldest alliance in the world". 

António Costa, who was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, João Gomes Cravinho, also mentioned that this relaunch of the bilateral relationship takes place "about a month before we celebrate the 650th anniversary of the first treaty we signed between Portugal and England, which continues to be the oldest continuous covenant".
